BVS240XDPDR 24V DC UPS – 240Watt, 24V, 10A, DIN-Rail mounting, Power Module without battery

Protect
your investment and prevent data loss with the new 240Watt 24V DC DIN-rail mounted industrial UPS from Schneider Electric, which provides reliable surge protection and battery backup during power failures in an industrial environment.

This Schneider Electric Industrial UPS enables machine builders and system integrators to:
efficiently manage their automation equipment in the event of a power failure.

Separate battery
The BVS240XDPDR power module is equipped with DC input/output terminals to support PLCs and HMIs, and must be equipped with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 XB005XPDR runtime batteries. This allows for up to one hour of bridging time during power failures under full load. See runtime table for more details. The Industrial DC DIN Rail UPS comes with relay contactors that enable remote management of connected equipment and monitoring of the UPS.

Why consider Schneider Electric Industrial UPS?
-Minimize downtime and protect investments
-Helps reduce machine maintenance by enabling safe shutdown of equipment during a power failure and eliminating the need to reset automation machines.
-Gain better control over your industrial infrastructure with remote monitoring and management via relay contactors, external battery backup and LED indicators.

Key features
-24 DC input
Connect the right AC/DC or DC/DC power supply for your application.

-24 DC output
Designed to support industrial equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs that require a 24V DC power supply.

-Relay contactors
Shutdown and manage connected equipment via potential dry contacts.

-Expandable battery capacity
Extend runtime up to 4 batteries (XB005XPDR).

-On/Off button
Remotely turn the UPS on or off when needed.

-2-year warranty
Peace of mind with a 2-year warranty.

-LED indicators
Check the UPS status using LEDs that change from green to red when an event occurs.

APC BVS240XDPDR 24V DC UPS – 240Watt, 24V, 10A, DIN-Rail mounting, Power Module without battery. Output power capacity: 0.24 kVA, Output power: 240 W, Input operation voltage (min): 21.6 V. Product colour: Grey. Width: 40 mm, Depth: 129 mm, Height: 119 mm

How to use

Install the unit on a compatible DIN rail and connect a suitable 24V DC power source to the DC input. Fit one to four compatible runtime batteries (XB005XPDR) to achieve the desired backup time and connect the DC output to your 24V devices such as PLCs or HMIs. Use the relay contacts for remote monitoring or to trigger controlled shutdown of connected equipment. Monitor the unit status with the LED indicators and operate the On/Off button as required.

Recommendations

Use appropriate wiring and fusing per local electrical codes, verify battery compatibility and follow Schneider Electric/APC installation guides. For maximum runtime, install the full complement of recommended runtime batteries and perform regular battery maintenance and status checks.
