Why choose it

AppleCare+ extends the standard one-year warranty and 90 days of complimentary support to three full years of coverage. Unlike third-party warranties, it is backed by Apple and uses genuine Apple parts and certified technicians. The unlimited accidental damage incidents are particularly valuable for a portable device that travels with you. The service fees are predictable and often lower than out-of-warranty repair costs. You also get direct access to Apple's support team by phone or chat, saving you time troubleshooting issues.

Ideal use cases

• Students who carry their MacBook Air between classes and dorms, where drops and spills are common.
• Professionals who rely on their laptop daily and cannot afford downtime due to hardware failures.
• Frequent travelers who want peace of mind against accidental damage in transit.
• Anyone planning to keep their MacBook Air for several years and wanting to avoid unexpected repair bills.

Good to know

AppleCare+ must be purchased within 60 days of your MacBook Air purchase, so don't wait. The plan is linked to your device's serial number and activates automatically—no registration needed. If you sell or give away your MacBook Air, the remaining coverage transfers to the new owner. Note that AppleCare+ does not cover loss or theft, but it does cover accidental damage from handling. For complete terms, refer to Apple's AppleCare+ agreement.
