Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks BS70046-W 6 m wit TAE RJ-11

The ShiverPeaks BS70046-W telephone cable is a 6 m connection lead with a TAE (F) connector on one end and an RJ-11 plug on the other. Designed for straightforward linking of telephones, fax machines or analog devices to wall sockets, this white cable provides a discreet and tidy appearance in home or office environments while maintaining the necessary signal path for voice communication.

Advantages

This telephone cable offers a standard wiring configuration that ensures compatibility with common analog telephone sockets and devices. Its 6 m length gives flexibility in device placement without requiring additional extensions. The white jacket is PVC-insulated for basic protection against everyday wear and helps the cable blend into typical interior settings. The connectors are fitted for direct plug-and-play use, minimizing installation time.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones to wall sockets with TAE interfaces
• Linking analog fax machines or modems to analog phone lines
• Temporary or permanent wiring in home offices and small businesses
• Replacement of worn or damaged telephone patch leads

Key specifications

• Cable length: 6 metres
• Connectors: TAE (F) to RJ-11
• Color: White
• Jacket material: PVC insulation
• Usage: Analog voice and low-speed data (fax/modem)

How to use

Insert the TAE (F) connector into the appropriate wall socket and plug the RJ-11 end into the telephone or other analog device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent contact. Route the cable to minimize tension and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could damage the internal conductors. If necessary, secure the cable along skirting boards or cable clips to maintain a tidy installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the telephone cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances to reduce potential interference. Replace the cable if connector contacts show visible corrosion or if voice quality degrades. Use indoor-rated cable only in dry environments; for exposed or outdoor routes, select a cable specified for external use.
