Aqua-Computer ombouwpakket socket TR4 voor cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx (MPN 21799)

The Aqua-Computer conversion kit Socket TR4 for cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx provides the mounting components needed to adapt the cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx water block for AMD TR4 socket CPUs. Designed for custom liquid-cooling systems, this kit supplies the specific brackets, spacers and fasteners required to secure the water block to the larger contact area and unique hole pattern of Ryzen Threadripper processors. It enables the cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx to be used on TR4 platforms without changing the core cooler design.

Advantages

This conversion kit is manufactured to match the mounting geometry and pressure requirements of TR4 sockets, ensuring stable contact and reliable heat transfer between the CPU and the cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx water block. Components are engineered for compatibility with the existing water block and are finished to the same quality standards as Aqua-Computer accessories. The kit simplifies installation by providing all necessary mechanical parts for a TR4 conversion, avoiding improvised solutions that could compromise cooling performance.

Suitable for

• Adapting cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx water block to AMD Ryzen Threadripper (TR4) processors
• Custom liquid cooling builds requiring TR4 mounting hardware
• Upgrading a system where the original cooler lacks TR4 compatibility

Key specifications

• Compatibility: mounting geometry and hardware for AMD TR4 socket
• Contents: brackets, spacers and fasteners required for TR4 installation
• Material characteristics: metal mounting parts designed for structural stability and consistent contact pressure
• Finish: components matched to Aqua-Computer accessory quality for reliable mechanical fit

How to use

Before starting, power down the system, disconnect power and remove the motherboard from the case if necessary to access the CPU socket. Remove the existing mounting parts from the cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx according to the water block manual and fit the supplied TR4 brackets, spacers and fasteners in their place. Position the water block over the CPU ensuring correct orientation, then secure it using the provided hardware and the recommended torque sequence to achieve even pressure across the CPU integrated heatspreader. Reassemble the system and verify leak-free operation before returning the computer to normal use.

Recommendations

Use an appropriate, thin layer of thermal interface material recommended for large-die CPUs like Threadripper. Follow Aqua-Computer’s water block handling instructions and torque specifications to avoid uneven mounting pressure. Inspect mounting parts for correct fit and ensure fittings and tubing are secured before filling and testing the cooling loop.
