ARCTIC Freezer 36-S A-RGB CPU-luchtkoeler - zwart

The ARCTIC Freezer 36-S A-RGB (Black) is a compact single-tower CPU air cooler with addressable A-RGB lighting. It combines four direct-touch copper heat pipes, a dense aluminium fin stack and a quiet 120 mm P12 Pro PWM fan to keep modern Intel and AMD processors cool, while the A-RGB fan adds customisable lighting to your build.

Advantages

The single 120 mm pressure-optimised fan runs from 200 to 2000 RPM with a fluid dynamic bearing for quiet, long-lasting operation, and PWM control keeps it near-silent at idle. Four heat pipes in direct contact with the CPU spread heat efficiently across the 156 mm tower. The addressable A-RGB fan syncs with common motherboard lighting software, and the included MX-7 thermal paste ensures strong heat transfer from the first install.

Suitable for

• Mainstream and high-performance Intel and AMD desktops
• Compact builds where a 156 mm tower fits
• Users who want addressable RGB lighting
• Upgrading from a noisy or weak stock cooler

Installation

Fit the mounting hardware for your Intel or AMD socket, apply the included MX-7 paste to the CPU, then secure the cooler with the wire clips. Connect the fan PWM cable to the CPU_FAN header and the A-RGB cable to a 3-pin 5V ARGB header on your motherboard. Confirm clearance against the case side panel before closing.

Recommendations

Set a PWM fan curve in the BIOS for the quietest operation, and use your motherboard's lighting software to sync the A-RGB effects. Confirm your case supports the 156 mm cooler height. Reapply thermal paste if you remove the cooler, and keep the fins dust-free.
