How to use

Use the Schwabe H05RN-F cable to create or extend a flexible mains connection by securely terminating each conductor with appropriate plugs, sockets or terminal connections rated for the intended voltage and current. Ensure that connections are made by a competent person and that strain relief and protective measures are applied where the cable enters equipment or housings. For temporary outdoor use, keep the cable sheltered from direct weather exposure and avoid prolonged immersion or unprotected contact with sharp edges.

Recommendations

Check the current and voltage requirements of connected equipment and ensure the 1.0 mm² conductor size is adequate for the load and cable run length. Avoid using the cable in permanently exposed outdoor installations or where continuous water immersion, extreme temperatures or chemical exposure may occur. Inspect the sheath regularly for signs of wear, cuts or oil degradation and replace the cable if damage is found.
