ASUS ZenWiFi XD5 (W-2-PK) dualband (2,4 GHz / 5 GHz) Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wit intern

The ASUS ZenWiFi XD5 (W-2-PK) is a dual-band mesh router kit with Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) support, designed to provide whole-home coverage and stable connections. The package contains two white units with internal antennas and an AC adapter supporting 110–240V. ZenWiFi XD5 delivers combined throughput up to 3000 Mbps and supports 160 MHz channel width where permitted, offering improved capacity and reduced congestion for compatible devices.

Advantages

ZenWiFi XD5 provides extended mesh coverage using two AX3000-class nodes that work together to deliver fast, reliable Wi‑Fi across larger spaces. It supports Wi‑Fi 6 features including higher modulation and optional 160 MHz bandwidth for increased throughput, offers flexible network naming (single SSID or separate band SSIDs), and includes lifetime AiProtection Classic with parental controls via the ASUS Router app. The units feature a compact design with mounting holes for wall installation and are compatible with AiMesh for easy expansion and advanced network management.

Suitable for

• Multi-room homes and apartments requiring extended Wi‑Fi coverage
• Streaming high-resolution video (8K/4K) and gaming on compatible devices
• Households needing parental controls and network security
• Users who want a simple app-based setup and optional wall mounting

Key specifications

• Wi‑Fi standard: Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax), backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac
• Frequency bands: Dual-band (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz)
• Maximum aggregate bandwidth: up to 3000 Mbps (AX3000 class)
• 160 MHz channel support: supported where regulatory rules allow
• Ethernet LAN ports: 2 (RJ‑45) per unit
• Antennas: 2 internal antennas per unit
• Product colour: White
• Package: 2 units (mesh kit)

How to use

Place the two ZenWiFi XD5 units in central positions to cover different areas of your home, connect one unit to your modem via Ethernet, and power both units. Install the ASUS Router app on your smartphone and follow the three-step setup process to create the mesh network. Choose either a single network name for all bands or separate SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz according to your preference. Enable AiProtection Classic and parental controls in the app if desired. For expanded coverage, add compatible AiMesh nodes via the app.

Recommendations

Position nodes elevated and away from large metal objects or dense obstacles for best coverage. To benefit from maximum Wi‑Fi 6 speeds and 160 MHz channels, use compatible Wi‑Fi 6 client devices and verify local regulatory support for wide channel operation on the 5 GHz band.
