TP-Link AX1500 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Systeem

The TP-Link Deco X10 AX1500 Whole Home Mesh Wi‑Fi 6 System is a dual‑band mesh router package designed to provide consistent Wi‑Fi coverage across an entire home with up to 1500 Mbit/s combined throughput. Equipped with Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax), the system uses technologies such as MU‑MIMO, OFDMA, BSS Coloring and Beamforming to increase capacity, reduce latency and improve signal strength. The Deco X10 supports unified management via the Deco app, offers router and access point operation modes, and is compatible with other Deco units for easy expansion.

Advantages

Wi‑Fi 6 support delivers higher capacity and better performance for multiple connected devices, while bi‑directional MU‑MIMO and OFDMA optimize simultaneous data delivery and reduce lag. Beamforming and BSS Coloring improve signal clarity and eliminate dead zones. The Deco app provides centralised management, guest network and parental control features, and the system is voice‑control compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. All Decos interoperate, allowing simple coverage expansion by adding more units.

Suitable for

• Homes requiring whole‑home Wi‑Fi coverage without dead zones
• Households with multiple simultaneous devices (smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, IoT)
• Streaming video, online gaming and low‑latency applications
• Users who want simple app‑based setup, management and voice control

How to use

Place the Deco units around your home to ensure overlapping coverage, ideally locating one unit near your modem and additional units on different floors or at opposite ends of the living area. Install the Deco app on your smartphone, follow the in‑app setup wizard to connect the primary Deco to your modem, and complete the mesh setup by adding the remaining units. Use the app to assign a single Wi‑Fi name for the mesh, configure guest access, and enable parental controls or voice control if desired.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, position units in open areas away from large metal objects and microwaves, and keep at least a few metres between Decos and other wireless devices. Add additional Deco nodes to enlarge coverage or improve throughput in traffic‑dense areas. Regularly update firmware through the Deco app to maintain security and performance.
