ATEN 4-poorts USB HDMI dual display secure KVM-switch 4K Ultra HD

The ATEN 4-Port USB HDMI Dual Display Secure KVM Switch (model CS1144H4) is a PSD PP v4.0 certified peripheral sharing device designed for environments that require strong isolation between networks. It lets a single keyboard, mouse, dual HDMI monitors and speaker set be shared among up to four computers while enforcing hardware-level protections to prevent data leakage. The unit supports 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) video output, uses USB for keyboard and mouse connectivity, and comes in a metal housing with a wide input voltage range for reliable operation.

Advantages

The CS1144H4 provides strict isolation and unidirectional data flow between connected computers and peripherals, configurable device filtration, and dedicated audio filtration to block unauthorized data transfer. It supports manual switching via front-panel pushbuttons and a Remote Port Selector (RPS) to avoid remote or automatic switching methods. The tamper-proof hardware design and PSD PP v4.0 certification ensure compliance with NIAP protection profiles for peripheral sharing devices.

Suitable for

• Government and military installations requiring enforced separation of classified networks
• Healthcare environments handling patient data across isolated systems
• Banking and finance institutions with separate production and secure networks
• Any organization that must share peripherals between multiple security domains without risking data leakage

How to use

Install the CS1144H4 on a stable surface and connect each computer to the unit using the provided HDMI and USB cables for video and peripheral interfaces. Connect your keyboard, mouse, dual HDMI monitors and speaker set to the corresponding console ports on the KVM switch. Power the device from a compatible 100–240 V supply. To switch control between connected computers, press the appropriate front-panel pushbutton or use the Remote Port Selector (RPS). The device enforces peripheral filtering and isolation automatically during switching to prevent data transfer between sources.

Recommendations

For secure deployments, use only manual switching methods and keep firmware and configuration documentation aligned with your organization’s security policy. Verify PSD PP v4.0 compliance as part of procurement checks and follow local procedures for tamper-evident installation.
