Audio-adapter ShiverPeaks jackkoppeling mono 6,3 mm metaal 50800

The ShiverPeaks Klinkenkupplung Mono 6.3 mm Metal 50800 is a compact metal jack coupler for joining two 6.3 mm (1/4") mono plugs. Designed for straightforward signal extension and patching, this coupler provides a rigid mechanical connection and consistent electrical contact for instrument leads, patch cables and other mono audio lines used in studio and live environments. Its metal body improves durability compared with plastic alternatives while maintaining a small footprint for easy placement on pedalboards, rack cases and workbenches.

Advantages

The metal construction offers enhanced mechanical strength and reliable contact for repeated plug insertions. The mono design ensures a simple signal path with minimal insertion loss and good continuity for unbalanced audio signals. Its compact size makes it suitable for cramped setups and portable rigs where space is limited. The straightforward, passive design requires no power and is compatible with standard 6.3 mm mono plugs.

Suitable for

• Connecting instrument cables (guitar, bass) to extension leads
• Linking patch cables on pedalboards and equipment racks
• Temporary joins for studio patching and rehearsal setups
• Extending mono signals between amplifiers, mixers and processors

Key specifications

• Connector type: 6.3 mm (1/4") mono jack coupler
• Body material: metal
• Application: unbalanced mono audio connections
• Design: passive, no power required
• Typical use environment: studio, stage, rehearsal room

How to use

Insert each 6.3 mm mono plug fully into either end of the coupler until they seat securely. Ensure plugs are straight and aligned to avoid mechanical strain. Use the coupler to join two cables temporarily or to create a longer run; when not needed, remove plugs by pulling straight out. Inspect contacts and cable jackets periodically to confirm secure connections and to detect wear that could affect signal quality.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the coupler with standard 6.3 mm mono plugs and avoid angled or non-standard connectors that may stress the housing. Keep connections free of dust and moisture and avoid excessive bending at the cable exit points to prolong contact life.
