Audio-cinch-kabel (RCA) ShiverPeaks 40605 — 2 stekkers, 5 m, blauw

ShiverPeaks 40605 is a 5 m analog audio cinch (RCA) cable in blue with two connectors designed to carry unbalanced line-level signals between source and playback devices. It is intended for straightforward audio interconnection tasks such as linking CD players, amplifiers, receivers and DVD players in home audio systems or AV setups where a standard RCA lead of this length and colour is required.

Advantages

The cable offers a simple, reliable physical connection with standardized RCA plugs that fit most consumer audio equipment. Its 5 metre length provides extended reach for flexible placement of components, while the blue jacket allows easy visual identification among multiple cables. The construction focuses on basic signal transmission for line-level sources and is appropriate where balanced connections or specialized shielding are not required.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, DVD players and other line-level audio sources to amplifiers or receivers
• Home stereo systems and multiroom AV installations requiring a 5 m RCA interconnect
• Temporary or permanent audio setups where a standard unbalanced connection is acceptable

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (cinch) male to RCA (cinch) male, 2 connectors
• Cable length: 5.0 metres
• Cable colour: blue
• Signal type: analog unbalanced line-level
• Cable construction: twin conductor with integrated remote lead (twin cable)

How to use

Identify the output on the source device and the corresponding input on the amplifier or receiver, then insert the right-angle or straight RCA plugs (if applicable) firmly into the matching jacks. Ensure the left and right channels are connected to the correct colour-coded inputs on both devices. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separate from mains power cables when possible to reduce hum or interference. For best results, confirm both devices are powered off when making connections.

Recommendations

Use this cable for standard unbalanced audio connections in home AV systems. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines; if longer runs or improved noise rejection are needed, consider balanced or higher-specification interconnects.
