How to use

Connect the YAMAHA UR12MK3 White to your computer with the supplied USB cable, install any necessary drivers or software if required by your operating system, then connect a microphone or instrument to the appropriate input. Adjust the input gain controls while monitoring through headphones or speakers to achieve the desired recording level without clipping. Use the monitor control to balance direct monitoring and playback from your recording software. For stereo recording, route left and right signals appropriately in your DAW.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use a low-noise microphone and set input gain so that peak levels remain below clipping. Monitor with closed-back headphones when recording vocals to minimize bleed, and place the interface on a stable surface away from vibration sources. If you experience latency, check buffer settings in your audio software and adjust sample rate and buffer size for a balance between performance and CPU load.
