Audiokabel 2x RCA ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 10 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA to 2x RCA audio cable, 10 m, is a straightforward connection cable for analog audio systems. It has male RCA plugs on both ends and a copper conductor with nickel-plated contacts, designed to transfer line-level stereo signals between components such as amplifiers, receivers, CD players and mixers. The cable’s three-colour jacket—black with red and white markings—helps identify left and right channels while maintaining a compact, flexible design appropriate for home and studio use.

Advantages

The cable uses copper conductors and nickel-plated RCA contacts to provide reliable signal transmission and resistance to corrosion. Its 10 m length offers extended reach for connecting components across larger rooms or racks without the need for multiple adapters. The colour-coded jacket simplifies channel identification during installation and the basic construction is optimized for everyday audio connections where cost-effectiveness and practicality are priorities.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD/DVD players, tuners or media players to amplifiers and AV receivers
• Linking mixers, preamps or recorders to monitoring systems in home studios
• Extending line-level stereo connections across living rooms, offices or small venues

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connector type: 2 x RCA (male) to 2 x RCA (male)
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Outer colour: black with red and white channel markings

How to use

Plug the red RCA connector into the right-channel output and the white or black-marked connector into the left-channel output of the source device. Connect the opposite end to the corresponding input jacks on the receiving device, ensuring snug, full insertion of each RCA plug. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or pinching points and keep it separated from power cables to minimize potential interference. Test audio levels at low volume before normal operation.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharply bending the cable near the connectors and secure excess length with Velcro ties rather than tight knots. If using in permanent installations, periodically inspect the nickel-plated contacts for oxidation and clean gently with contact cleaner if necessary. This cable is intended for line-level analog signals and is not suitable for speaker-level or digital coaxial applications without confirming device compatibility.
