Audiokabel 5 m ShiverPeaks BS20-41055

The ShiverPeaks BS20-41055 audio cable is a 5 m analogue interconnect with 2 x RCA male connectors on each end. Designed for connecting consumer and semi-professional audio equipment, the cable uses 28 AWG conductors and gold-plated contacts to support reliable signal transfer while maintaining flexibility. Its black jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home audio systems, AV receivers, CD players, turntables and other line-level devices.

Advantages

Gold-plated RCA contacts reduce oxidation and improve long-term contact reliability. The 28 AWG construction balances flexibility and signal integrity for runs of moderate length, and the 5 m length offers extended reach for flexible equipment placement. The cable’s simple black design integrates unobtrusively into most audio setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, tuners and DACs to amplifiers or receivers
• Linking preamplifiers and power amplifiers at line level
• Running between AV components in a living room or studio environment
• Temporary or permanent audio patching where a 5 m length is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: 2 x RCA male on each end
• Conductor size: 28 AWG
• Contact plating: gold-plated
• Colour: black
• Signal type: analogue line-level audio

How to use

Insert the RCA plugs into matching female RCA sockets on source and destination devices, ensuring correct left (usually white) and right (usually red) channel connections. Route the cable away from mains power lines and large transformers to minimise hum or interference. For permanent installations, avoid tight bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, use this cable for line-level analogue connections in home and small studio setups. If you require balanced connections or very long runs, consider cables and connectors designed specifically for those applications. Periodically inspect gold-plated contacts and clean gently if oxidation or dirt affects connection quality.
