Audiokabel RCA 1,5 m ShiverPeaks BS40002

The ShiverPeaks BS40002 audio cable is a 1.5 m RCA-to-RCA lead designed for connecting a variety of audio components. Constructed from high-quality copper conductors with nickel-plated contacts, the cable provides reliable analog signal transmission between devices such as amplifiers, receivers, CD players and powered speakers. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits most audio setups while the standard RCA male connectors simplify installation and compatibility.

Advantages

The copper conductor delivers consistent conductivity for clear analog audio transfer while nickel-plated contacts increase resistance to corrosion and wear, helping to maintain signal integrity over time. At 1.5 m length the cable offers sufficient reach for typical home and studio layouts without excessive slack. The RCA-to-RCA configuration is universally compatible with consumer audio equipment that uses phono-style connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, turntables with preamps, or tape decks to amplifiers or receivers
• Linking preamplifiers or DACs to power amplifiers or active monitors
• Hooking up AV receivers to subwoofers or line-level inputs on speakers
• Temporary or permanent audio patching in small home studios or DJ setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: male RCA to male RCA
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Outer colour: black

How to use

Connect one end of the ShiverPeaks BS40002 cable to the line-level output (RCA) of the source device and the other end to the corresponding line-level input on the receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to minimise hum or intermittent contact. When connecting left and right channels, match the left (typically white) and right (typically red) jacks on both source and destination devices. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from mains cables to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable for line-level analog connections and avoid using it where balanced connections or digital interfaces are required. Inspect contacts periodically and replace the cable if connectors become loose or show signs of corrosion. For improved longevity, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable during installation.
