Audiokabel RCA ShiverPeaks SP90022-3 3m blauw

The ShiverPeaks SP90022-3 3m Blue is a three-meter RCA audio cable with male connectors on both ends designed for analog audio connections. It features gold-plated contacts that reduce corrosion and improve conductivity, and a colored outer jacket that makes identification and routing in an audio system easier. The cable is intended to carry stereo line-level signals between devices such as CD players, amplifiers, mixers and consumer audio equipment, providing a reliable physical connection for signal transfer.

Advantages

The gold-plated RCA contacts provide consistent electrical contact and resistance to tarnish, which supports stable signal transmission over time. The three-meter length offers extended reach for flexible placement of audio components without the need for additional joins. A clearly visible blue jacket helps with cable management and quick identification behind racks or home entertainment systems. The cable construction balances flexibility and sufficient shielding to minimise handling noise and interference in typical home and small-studio environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, DACs or media players to amplifiers or receivers
• Linking mixers and outboard audio gear in home studios
• Hooking up subwoofers or active speakers to line-level outputs
• Replacing or extending existing RCA interconnects in home audio systems

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 meters
• Connector type: RCA male to RCA male (stereo pair)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Outer jacket: colored (blue) for easy identification
• Intended signal type: analog line-level audio

How to use

Insert the RCA male connectors into the corresponding RCA female jacks on your source and destination devices, matching left/right channels as indicated by your equipment. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a reliable connection. Route the cable with gentle curves to avoid sharp bends and keep it separated from power cables and strong electromagnetic sources where possible to reduce interference. For best results, power off devices when connecting or disconnecting to avoid transient noises.

Recommendations

Use the cable for standard stereo line-level connections in home audio and small studios. For long runs beyond three meters or in high-interference environments consider balanced connections or additional shielding. Regularly inspect connectors for dirt or oxidation and clean gently with appropriate contact cleaner if signal quality degrades.
