Audiokabel ShiverPeaks 40230 met 2 metalen cinch-stekkers, verguld, 10,0 m

ShiverPeaks 40230 is a 10.0 m analogue audio cable with two metal RCA connectors that are gold plated for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance. It is designed to carry line-level audio signals between source components and amplifiers, receivers or active speakers. The cable length provides flexibility for home audio, Hi‑Fi and AV installations where devices are placed at a distance from each other.

Advantages

The metal RCA connectors offer robust mechanical stability and a secure fit in RCA sockets; gold plating reduces the risk of signal degradation due to oxidation. The 10.0 m length allows for neat routing across rooms or inside AV furniture without the need for extension adapters. The cable construction prioritizes stable analogue transmission and compatibility with common consumer audio equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, turntables (with appropriate preamp), and DACs to amplifiers or receivers
• Linking AV receivers and active speakers over longer distances
• Home Hi‑Fi setups and stereo systems where extended cable runs are required
• Temporary or permanent installations in living rooms, media cabinets, or small studios

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10.0 m
• Connector type: 2 × metal RCA (male) to 2 × metal RCA (male)
• Contact finish: gold plated
• Signal type: analogue line-level audio
• Typical use: stereo audio connections

How to use

Plug the RCA connectors into the matching left (white) and right (red) outputs on the source device, and into the corresponding left and right inputs on the amplifier, receiver or active speaker. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain good contact, and route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electrical interference. If connecting a turntable, confirm the presence of a phono preamplifier if required by the cartridge type.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable away from mains power cords and large electronic transformers to minimise potential hum or interference. When routing the 10.0 m run, secure the cable with clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors and periodically check connector contacts for cleanliness if audio quality changes over time.
