Audiokabel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x cinch - 2x cinch 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 2x RCA - 2x RCA 0.5m is a short interconnect audio cable designed for connecting consumer audio components with RCA sockets. It has male RCA plugs on both ends and a 0.5 m copper conductor to ensure reliable signal transmission between sources and amplifiers, receivers, DACs or powered speakers. The cable features nickel-plated contacts for corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality, and a black, red and white color scheme that helps with quick channel identification during setup.

Advantages

This 2x RCA to 2x RCA cable offers a compact length for minimal signal loss in short runs, straightforward connectivity with standard RCA-equipped equipment, and durable nickel-plated contacts that maintain good electrical contact over time. The copper conductor provides adequate conductivity for line-level audio signals while the color-coded outer jacket simplifies left/right channel identification during installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, DACs or media players to amplifiers or receivers
• Linking preamplifiers and power amplifiers over short distances
• Hooking small powered speakers to consumer audio sources
• Temporary or permanent connections where a compact 0.5 m cable is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: 2 x RCA (male) on both ends
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: nickel-plated contacts
• Color scheme: black, red and white for channel identification

How to use

Insert the male RCA plugs into the corresponding RCA input and output jacks on your audio devices, matching channel colors where applicable (red typically for right channel, white for left). Ensure connectors are seated firmly to avoid intermittent contact. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or sharp kinks; a short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable and helps maintain a tidy setup. Disconnect by gently pulling on the connector housings rather than the cable to preserve the conductor integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this cable for line-level analog connections over short distances. Keep the cable away from power cables and strong electromagnetic sources to minimize potential interference. Regularly inspect connectors for signs of corrosion or loose contacts and replace the cable if mechanical damage is observed.
