Audiokabel ShiverPeaks BS06-15075 10m zwart rood

The ShiverPeaks BS06-15075 10m audio cable is a long-reach connection solution for home and professional audio setups. Constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA) conductors and finished in a black and red jacket, this 10 meter cable is intended to provide a durable, flexible link between audio components across longer distances while maintaining reliable signal transmission characteristics for analogue audio systems.

Advantages

The CCA conductor offers a balance of conductivity and cost-effectiveness, while the 10 m length allows placement of equipment without the need for immediate proximity. The black and red jacket provides clear polarity or channel identification and a level of mechanical protection against everyday wear. The cable’s flexibility supports routing through typical home or studio installations and reduces strain on connectors during setup changes.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio components separated by extended distances (up to 10 m)
• Home audio systems and stereo setups
• Studio patching and non-permanent installations requiring flexible routing
• Situations where clear cable identification (black/red) is helpful

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Conductor material: Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA)
• Outer colour: Black and red jacket
• Design: Flexible twin-conductor audio cable for analogue signals

How to use

Strip the cable ends to expose the conductors following the connector manufacturer’s recommendations, then attach the appropriate plugs or terminals for your equipment. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high-traffic areas to minimize mechanical stress. Ensure correct polarity when connecting channels by using the black and red colour coding. Test the connection at low volume before normal operation to confirm signal continuity and proper channel assignment.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs away from mains electrical wiring and strong electromagnetic sources. Use strain relief at connection points and avoid repeated sharp bending. If permanent or high-fidelity installations are required, consider conductor and shielding requirements appropriate to the environment and signal sensitivity.
