Audiokabel ShiverPeaks BS06-18105 25 m zwart rood

The ShiverPeaks BS06-18105 25m audio cable is a long, flexible connection solution designed for audio and video setups that require extended reach. Constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA), this cable balances conductivity and weight to provide a practical path for audio signals over a 25 meter span. Its black and red color scheme aids channel identification and adds a distinct visual element to installations in home, studio or event environments.

Advantages

The cable's Copper-Clad Aluminium conductor delivers a compromise between copper conductivity and lower-weight materials, resulting in a durable, cost-effective cable suitable for extended runs. The 25 meter length reduces the need for additional joins or adapters in many installations, while the black and red insulation simplifies left/right or input/output identification. The cable's flexibility supports routing through confined spaces and around obstacles without excessive stiffness.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio components across larger rooms or stages
• Permanent or temporary installations in home theater and studio setups
• Wiring for PA systems, mixers and loudspeakers where color-coded leads are helpful
• Event and DJ setups requiring long, visible cable runs

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Conductor material: Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA)
• Colour: Black and red insulation
• Design: Flexible jacket suitable for routing and installation

How to use

Measure the required run and lay the cable along the planned route, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If necessary, secure the cable with clips or ties at regular intervals to prevent movement and minimize mechanical strain. Strip the ends and terminate with appropriate connectors for your equipment or use existing connector housings compatible with CCA conductors. Test the connection at low volume before full use to confirm proper signal routing and channel identification.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, avoid running the audio cable in parallel with mains power cables for extended distances. When making terminations, ensure good mechanical crimping or soldering appropriate for Copper-Clad Aluminium to maintain reliable electrical contact. Use the black and red color coding to keep channel assignments consistent during installation and maintenance.
