Audiokabel ShiverPeaks BS06-18506 50 m wit

The ShiverPeaks BS06-18506 50m White audio cable is a long, single-conductor cable constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA) to combine reduced weight with consistent signal transmission over extended runs. Offered in a neutral white jacket, this 50 meter cable is intended for audio installations where a long, flexible run is required without integrated connectors, allowing customization with chosen plugs or terminations. The cable is suitable for both professional audio setups and residential AV installations that demand straightforward, cost-effective wiring.

Advantages

The CCA conductor provides a balance between conductivity and weight, resulting in a lighter cable that is easier to route through conduits and cable trays. The 50 m length supports long-distance runs without the need for intermediate connectors, and the white outer jacket offers a discreet appearance in light-colored environments. The absence of pre-fitted connectors gives flexibility to terminate the cable to the specific connector type and quality required for the application.

Suitable for

• Long-distance audio signal runs in event venues, studios, or conference rooms
• Home theatre and residential AV installations where discrete cable routing is required
• Custom cabling projects that require specific connectors or bespoke terminations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Conductor material: Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA)
• Colour: White outer jacket
• Connector status: No pre-fitted connectors (sold as bulk cable)

How to use

Plan the cable route and measure required lengths before cutting. Strip the jacket and insulation according to the connector or termination method you intend to use, taking care to avoid nicking the conductor. Terminate the cable with appropriate soldered or crimped connectors compatible with your audio equipment, or use it within cable runs that feed wall plates and patch panels. Ensure secure fixing and strain relief at both ends to prevent mechanical stress on terminations.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs away from mains power lines and large electrical equipment to reduce potential interference. Use suitable shielding practices and connectors matched to the application. When running long distances, verify signal integrity with testing equipment and consider signal boosting or balanced transmission methods if necessary.
