Audiokabel ShiverPeaks BS06-21076 10m zwart rood

The ShiverPeaks BS06-21076 10m audio cable provides a long, flexible connection between audio devices. Constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA) conductors and finished in a black and red jacket, this cable is intended for signal transmission over medium distances while balancing cost and performance. Its 10 m length allows for placement flexibility in home audio setups, stage arrangements, or studio routing where extended reach is required.

Advantages

CCA conductors offer reduced weight compared with pure copper while maintaining electrical continuity for audio signals. The cable's 10 m length enables versatile placement of source and playback equipment without using multiple shorter leads or extensions. The black and red outer jacket provides clear visual identification of the cable among other leads while the flexible construction supports routing through typical installation paths.

Suitable for

• Connecting home audio components such as amplifiers, receivers and speakers over longer distances
• Temporary stage or live setups where a 10 m run is required
• Studio or rehearsal room routing where neat cable runs and visual identification are useful

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Conductor material: Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA)
• Outer colour: Black and red
• Design: Flexible jacket suitable for indoor routing

How to use

Route the cable between source and destination devices, avoiding sharp bends and pinching points. Ensure connectors on both devices are compatible with the cable termination type before making connections. When running along floors or through traffic areas, use cable protectors or secure the cable with tape or ties to prevent tripping and to protect the jacket. For best signal quality, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as power transformers and fluorescent lighting ballast.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, inspect the cable periodically for cuts or abrasions in the jacket and replace if damage exposes the conductors. When planning permanent installations, consider appropriate strain relief at connection points and avoid tight coils that may degrade the cable over time.
