Audiokabel ShiverPeaks BS10104 2,5m DIN 5-polig stekker naar bus zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS10104 audio cable is a 2.5m DIN 5-pin male-to-female connection cable designed for reliable audio signal transfer between compatible devices. Constructed with copper conductors and nickel-plated contacts, the cable provides consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance to support stable connections in home studios, live setups, or consumer audio systems.

Advantages

This male-to-female DIN 5-pin cable offers a practical length of 2.5 metres that balances reach and signal integrity. Copper conductors ensure low resistance and effective signal transmission while nickel-plated contacts reduce oxidation over time. The cable's standard DIN 5-pin configuration makes it compatible with a wide range of vintage and modern audio equipment that uses this connector type.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio devices that use 5-pin DIN connectors (male-to-female)
• Interfacing MIDI-compatible hardware that uses 5-pin DIN wiring standards
• Linking hi-fi components, cassette decks, or vintage audio equipment with DIN sockets

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2.5 metres
• Connector type: 5-pin DIN, male to female
• Conductor material: copper
• Contact plating: nickel
• Colour: black

How to use

Align the 5-pin DIN male plug with the corresponding female socket on the destination device, ensuring the keyed pin orientation matches before inserting. Gently push until the plug seats fully; do not force or twist excessively to avoid bending pins. To disconnect, grasp the connector body and pull straight out. Use the cable to route audio or MIDI signals between compatible equipment, avoiding tight bends or kinks that can stress the internal conductors.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, keep connectors clean and free of dust or corrosion. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cords to reduce potential interference. Store coiled loosely without sharp bends and inspect contacts periodically; if contact surfaces show heavy wear or corrosion, replace the cable to maintain signal quality.
