Audiokabel ShiverPeaks BS20-41255 2,5 m 2xRCA zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS20-41255 2.5m 2xRCA Black is an audio cable designed for reliable analogue signal transmission between consumer and professional audio devices. It features dual male RCA connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts and an AWG 28 conductor size. The 2.5 metre length and flexible black jacket make the cable suitable for typical home hi-fi, AV receiver, CD player, turntable preamp connections and portable equipment linking.

Advantages

Gold-plated RCA contacts reduce oxidation and support stable electrical contact for improved long-term signal transfer. The AWG 28 conductors balance flexibility and adequate current carrying capacity for line-level analogue audio signals. The 2.5 m cable length offers moderate reach while the flexible outer jacket simplifies routing behind furniture or in AV racks. Both ends use matching 2xRCA connectors to ensure straightforward left/right stereo connection without adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, DACs or turntable preamps to amplifiers or receivers
• Linking portable audio players or smartphones (via a suitable adapter) to hifi systems
• Connecting stereo outputs of mixers or audio interfaces to monitors or recorders
• Home theatre component connections where short-to-medium cable length is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2.5 m
• Connector type: 2 x RCA (male) on each end
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Conductor size: AWG 28
• Colour: black outer jacket

How to use

Connect one end of the ShiverPeaks 2xRCA cable to the left and right RCA output sockets of your source device and the other end to the corresponding left and right RCA input sockets of the receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a solid connection; rotate slightly if needed to align. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it away from power cables or large transformers to reduce the risk of interference. For devices without dedicated RCA outputs, use a compatible adapter or converter and verify line-level compatibility.

Recommendations

For best audio quality, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running parallel to mains power cables. Periodically inspect gold-plated contacts for dirt and clean gently with a suitable contact cleaner if signal degradation is noticed. Use strain relief at connection points when routing through racks or tight spaces to prolong cable life.
