Audiokabel TOSLINK ShiverPeaks 69006-2.0SPP 2 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks 69006-2.0SPP 2m Black is an optical TOSLINK audio cable designed for digital audio connections between compatible devices. With a 2-meter length and male-to-male connectors, this cable transmits PCM and multichannel digital audio signals using fiber-optic technology to reduce electromagnetic interference. The black jacket and compact connector housings offer a neutral appearance that fits home theaters, soundbars, TVs and audio receivers.

Advantages

This TOSLINK cable provides an interference-resistant optical signal path that preserves audio quality over a short to medium distance. Gold-plated contact areas at the connector ends improve contact reliability and resist corrosion over time. The measured 2.0 m length gives flexibility in placement without excess cable clutter. The cable’s build emphasizes straightforward, plug-and-play use with standard optical audio ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers
• Linking CD/DVD/Blu-ray players to home audio systems
• Setting up optical connections between game consoles and audio processors
• Use in living rooms, media centers, and studio monitoring where optical digital audio is supported

Key specifications

• Connector type: TOSLINK male on both ends
• Length: 2.0 meters
• Signal type: Optical digital audio (supports standard PCM and multichannel formats where supported by devices)
• Contact finish: Gold-plated connector surfaces for improved contact reliability
• Color: Black

How to use

Locate the optical (TOSLINK) ports on both source and destination devices and remove any protective caps from the cable connectors. Align each male connector with the device’s optical port and insert gently until it seats; avoid forcing the connector to prevent damage. Once connected, select the optical audio output on the source device and the appropriate input on the receiver or speaker system. For optimal performance ensure connectors and ports are free from dust and that the cable is not sharply bent at the ends.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable away from sources of strong mechanical strain and avoid tight bends with radii smaller than the connector area. Clean optical connector ends with compressed air or a soft, lint-free cloth if signal issues occur. Use this 2 m cable for short to medium distance optical connections; for longer runs consider professionally rated fiber-optic solutions.
