Audiokabel TOSLINK ShiverPeaks BS69006-3.0 3 m blauw

The ShiverPeaks BS69006-3.0 is a 3 m TOSLINK audio cable with male-to-male optical connectors designed for digital audio connections between components such as TVs, soundbars, AV receivers and hi-fi systems. Constructed with attention to signal integrity, the cable combines an optical transmission medium with high-quality conductor materials and gold-plated contacts at the connector interfaces to maintain consistent performance and resist corrosion. The blue outer jacket provides a visible, tidy appearance for home or professional AV installations.

Advantages

This TOSLINK cable offers a 3 m length that balances reach and minimal signal attenuation for typical living room and studio setups. Gold-plated contacts improve connector longevity and contact reliability, while the optical design reduces susceptibility to electrical interference compared with copper-only alternatives. The cable's finish and connector design support easy insertion and a stable fit for repeated use.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a soundbar or home theater system
• Linking audio sources to AV receivers
• Digital audio connections in media rooms and living rooms
• Temporary or permanent installations where a visible colored cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector type: TOSLINK (male) on both ends
• Conductor/material: optical fiber core with high-quality copper components at terminations
• Contact plating: gold-plated connector contacts for corrosion resistance
• Outer colour: Blue

How to use

Ensure both devices support optical (TOSLINK) audio connections and are switched off before connecting. Align the TOSLINK connector with the device's optical port and insert gently until it seats. Repeat for the second end. Power on devices and select the optical input or output in the device audio settings. Adjust volume and audio output format as required for your source and playback equipment.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable and keep the cable away from strong heat sources to preserve optical performance. When routing the cable, allow gentle curves and secure it with non-abrasive clips; disconnect by pulling the connector, not the cable jacket, to prevent strain on the terminations.
