Audiokabel TOSLINK ShiverPeaks BS69006-5.0 5 m blauw

The ShiverPeaks BS69006-5.0 is a 5-meter TOSLINK audio cable designed for digital optical audio connections between devices that support S/PDIF over optical fiber. The cable features male TOSLINK connectors on both ends and is finished in a blue jacket. Conductive elements are high-quality copper and contacts are gold-plated to support reliable signal transmission and resist corrosion. The 5 m length provides flexibility when connecting AV receivers, soundbars, TVs and other digital audio equipment across moderate distances.

Advantages

The TOSLINK ShiverPeaks BS69006-5.0 offers stable digital audio transmission with minimal electromagnetic interference due to its optical design and copper internal conductors. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and maintain good connection quality over time. The 5 m length allows convenient placement of components while the blue outer jacket provides visual identification and a neat appearance in home entertainment setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers
• Linking CD or DVD players to digital audio inputs
• Home theatre systems requiring optical S/PDIF connections
• Desktop audio setups where a 5 m optical cable is needed

• Product colour: Blue

How to use

Insert one TOSLINK connector into the optical output of the source device and the other into the optical input of the receiving device. Ensure connectors are aligned with the optical ports before applying gentle pressure; the connectors are keyed to fit only in the correct orientation. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors; maintain a smooth curve along the run to preserve signal quality. If either device has a protective cap on the optical port, remove it before connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from strong sources of heat and avoid tight bends with a radius smaller than approximately 3 cm. If the connection does not transmit audio, check that both devices are set to use the optical S/PDIF output/input and that the connectors are fully seated. Regularly inspect the gold-plated ends for debris and keep protective caps when the cable is unused.
