Analoge telefoon amplicomms BigTel 50 Alarm Plus nummerherkenning donkergrijs

The amplicomms BigTel 50 Alarm Plus is a corded analog telephone in dark grey designed for simple, reliable communication. It combines a large, easy-to-read display and big buttons with an integrated SOS alarm system that includes both a phone-mounted SOS key and a splash-proof alarm bracelet (wearable as a bracelet or pendant). The telephone supports Caller ID, a 32-entry phonebook plus ten additional speed-dial slots, and operates from mains power with four AA batteries included for emergency use during power outages.

Advantages

This model offers a one-touch Audio-Boost that increases earpiece volume by up to +40 dB and an extra-loud ringer adjustable to around 90 dB, together with a large visual ringer indicator. The handset is hearing-aid compatible and the hands-free function allows conversations without holding the handset. Large keys, talking digits and two direct memory keys (M1, M2) simplify dialing for users with reduced dexterity. The splash-proof alarm bracelet provides an additional wearable SOS option that automatically calls saved contacts with a voice message.

Suitable for

• Seniors or users with reduced vision or hearing who need amplified sound and large controls
• People requiring a wearable emergency alarm (bracelet or pendant) for falls or sudden medical needs
• Home or small office use where a simple analog corded phone with Caller ID is preferred
• Locations where power outages may occur — emergency battery backup included

Program emergency contacts and speed-dial numbers via the menu using the large keypad and on-screen prompts; talking digits confirm input. Wear the splash-proof alarm unit as a bracelet or pendant and ensure it is paired/configured to the phone so the SOS button will call the stored numbers and send the preset voice message. Use the Audio-Boost button for louder earpiece volume and adjust ringer level as needed. In case of power loss, the preinstalled 4 × AA batteries will allow emergency calls.

Recommendations

Place the phone in a central, easily accessible location and keep the alarm bracelet charged and worn when assistance may be needed. Regularly verify and update stored emergency numbers and test the SOS function to ensure correct operation.
