Author A-Stake mini USB-accu fietslamp

Commuting through dark city streets or hitting a trail at dusk, the Author A-Stake Mini keeps your path bright and your presence known. This compact USB-rechargeable bike light mounts in seconds without tools, delivering a powerful 300-lumen beam from a single CREE XP-G2 LED. A built-in 1000 mAh Li-ion battery recharges via Mini USB, so you never need to buy disposable cells. Three modes—High, Standard, and Flashing—let you balance brightness and runtime for any ride. The aluminum alloy body shrugs off rain and splashes with an IPX4 rating, while the silicone strap fits handlebars from 22 to 35 mm. A low-battery indicator and charging indicator keep you informed, so you’re never caught off guard.

Why choose it

The A-Stake Mini strips away complexity. No external battery packs, no fiddly brackets—just a bright, reliable light that recharges from any USB port. Its 300-lumen high mode cuts through darkness on unlit roads, while the flashing mode makes you visible in traffic day or night. The IPX4 rating means light rain won’t stop your commute, and the rugged aluminum housing survives daily knocks. With up to 10 hours of runtime in flashing mode, it’s a set-and-forget safety tool for regular riders.

Ideal use cases

• Urban commuting before sunrise or after sunset
• Recreational road cycling on poorly lit streets
• Mountain biking at dusk or in wooded areas
• As a backup or secondary light for long-distance touring
• Everyday visibility for e-bikes and city bikes

Good to know

The light charges via a standard Mini USB cable (not included) and reaches full capacity in about three hours. A red low-battery indicator warns you well before the battery dies, and the charging indicator turns green when complete. The silicone strap stretches to fit most handlebar diameters and can be removed quickly for charging or security. Weighing just 82 grams, the A-Stake Mini adds no noticeable bulk to your bike. For best battery life, store the light at room temperature and recharge every few months if unused.
