The Gembird TA-UC-2A15-CAR-01 is a compact 2-port USB car charger designed to charge smartphones, smartwatches and tablets while driving. With two USB-A ports and a combined maximum output of 3.1 A (15.5 W), it allows simultaneous charging of two devices from a 12–24 V vehicle power socket. Built-in protections guard against over-current, over-voltage and short circuits, and the charger’s black finish is intended to integrate discreetly into most vehicle interiors.

Advantages

The charger provides two USB 2.0 ports for charging two devices at once and delivers up to 5 V/3.1 A total output (15.5 W). It accepts standard 12–24 V car power input and includes over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection to help ensure safe charging. Its compact black design is suitable for most car interiors and keeps devices powered while using battery-intensive apps such as navigation or music streaming.

How to use

Insert the charger into the vehicle’s 12 V/24 V accessory socket (cigar lighter). Connect devices using standard USB-A to device cables. The two USB ports allow simultaneous charging; ensure the combined current draw does not exceed the charger’s maximum output. Remove the charger from the socket when not in use or when the vehicle is off to prevent unnecessary power draw.

Recommendations

Use original or high-quality USB charging cables and avoid exposing the charger to moisture or extreme temperatures. If a device requires higher individual charging current than available, charge devices separately or use a charger with higher per-port output.
