How to use

Before connecting, ensure the battery voltage matches the charger setting (6V or 12V). Connect the charger clamps to the battery terminals with correct polarity, observe any indicator lights or switches, and select the appropriate charging current (2A for slow/maintenance charging, 4A for standard charging, 6.5A for faster charging). Once connected and set, the charger will automatically regulate the charge cycle. After the charging process completes or when the required charge level is reached, disconnect the unit by first turning off the charger if a power switch is present and then removing the clamps, starting with the negative terminal.

Recommendations

Use the lowest suitable current (2A) for long-term maintenance or small-capacity batteries to extend battery life. For routine charging of vehicle starter batteries choose a higher current according to battery manufacturer guidance, and always verify correct voltage selection before connecting. Charge batteries in a well-ventilated area and follow safety instructions provided with the battery to avoid sparks or short circuits.
