AV-zender & -ontvanger Lindy 300m glasvezel HDMI 4K30 extender

The Lindy Fibre Optic HDMI 4K30 Extender transmits HDMI signals over long distances using a single OM3 LC duplex multimode fibre cable. It supports up to 3840x2160@60Hz resolution and multi-channel audio, enabling 4K UHD video and surround sound for installations where source and display are separated by large distances. The system includes a transmitter and a receiver that connect directly to the HDMI source and display; the fibre cable (not included) links the two modules for runs up to 300 m.

Advantages

Using fibre optic cabling provides high immunity to RF and electromagnetic interference, making the extender suitable for industrial and high-interference environments. The design requires only a single OM3 LC duplex multimode (50/125 µm) cable, which can be detached from the transmitter and receiver to simplify installation and allow routing through confined spaces. The unit delivers high-performance video and multi-channel audio over distances not achievable with passive HDMI or standard network cabling.

Key specifications

• Maximum resolution: 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz
• Fibre type: OM3 LC duplex multimode (50/125 µm)
• Maximum cable length: up to 300 m
• System components: transmitter and receiver modules
• Audio: multi-channel audio support
• Cable included: no (fibre optic cable sold separately)

How to use

Connect the transmitter to the HDMI source (for example media player or Blu-ray player) and the receiver to the display device (monitor or TV). Attach a single OM3 LC duplex multimode fibre cable to the LC ports on each module and route the cable between devices; the detachable connectors allow easier installation through tight paths. Power the modules according to the manufacturer instructions and verify the display receives the HDMI signal at the supported resolution and audio format.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K performance, use OM3 certified LC duplex multimode fibre and keep cable runs within the 300 m maximum. Verify compatibility of source and display devices with 3840x2160@60Hz and multi-channel audio formats before installation.
