AWTOOLS AW lashelm Auto LYG-8H automatisch verduisterend lasmasker

The AWTOOLS AW Welding Helmet Auto LYG-8H stands apart from typical auto-darkening helmets by combining a large 92 x 42 mm viewing area with true optical class 1/2/1/2 clarity. This means less eye strain and better visibility of the weld pool, especially in low-amperage TIG work where precision matters most. The helmet's two arc sensors and lightning-fast 1/25,000 s switching time ensure your eyes are protected the instant the arc strikes, while the adjustable shade range from DIN 9 to 13 covers everything from delicate thin-sheet welding to heavy structural fabrication.

Highlights

• Large viewing area: 92 x 42 mm for excellent peripheral vision
• Optical class 1/2/1/2: top-tier optical clarity with minimal distortion
• Fast switching: 1/25,000 s reaction time for instant darkening
• Adjustable shade DIN 9-13 with grind mode for versatility
• Solar-assisted power with CR2032 battery backup for reliability
• Permanent UV/IR protection up to DIN 16, even in light state
• Adjustable sensitivity and delay for fine-tuning to your workflow
• Lightweight, high-impact polypropylene shell for all-day comfort

In daily use

On the job, the LYG-8H adapts to your needs. The adjustable headgear with padding distributes weight evenly, reducing fatigue during long sessions. Switching between processes? The external shade control lets you dial in the perfect darkness for MIG, TIG, MMA, or plasma cutting without removing the helmet. The grind mode is a real time-saver: flip to a fixed light shade and you can clean up welds without swapping to a face shield. The solar cell extends battery life, and the low-battery indicator ensures you're never caught off guard. Whether you're a professional welder or a serious hobbyist, this helmet delivers consistent, reliable protection.
