BALLARINI glazen deksel gewelfd Ø16cm

This BALLARINI glass lid stands out with its domed shape, which creates extra headroom for taller ingredients and promotes natural steam circulation. Unlike flat lids, the raised profile helps moisture condense and return evenly, keeping dishes succulent without constant lifting. The 16 cm diameter is tailored for smaller pots and pans, making it a precise fit for compact cookware where standard lids often fall short.

Highlights

• Tempered glass body offers clear visibility and shatter resistance for confident cooking.
• Stainless steel rim provides a secure, warp-resistant fit and long-term durability.
• Integrated steam vent allows controlled moisture release, preventing boil-overs.
• Heat-resistant phenolic knob stays cool to the touch for safe handling.
• Dishwasher safe for effortless cleanup after everyday use.

In daily use

The transparent glass lets you monitor browning, simmering, and reduction without interrupting the cooking process. The domed profile is especially useful for steaming vegetables, poaching, or finishing sauces, as it encourages gentle convection. The steam vent can be left open for rapid evaporation or partially covered by adjusting the lid position, giving you flexible control over liquid levels. The stainless steel rim resists corrosion and helps the lid sit evenly on compatible 16 cm cookware, while the phenolic knob remains comfortable to grip even during extended stovetop sessions.
