Band Bosch FSN SS blauw

The Bosch FSN SS Blue tape is a PVC measuring tape designed specifically for woodworking tasks. Housed in a blister pack for convenient storage and handling, this tape combines durable materials with a clear printed scale to support accurate measurements and straight cuts. Its construction targets regular use in workshops and on-site environments where reliable marking and measuring are required.

Advantages

The tape's PVC body offers resistance to wear and moisture, maintaining legibility of the scale over time. The clear, high-contrast markings support quick reading and precise alignment during cutting or assembly. The compact blister packaging keeps the tape protected and easy to store, while the lightweight design aids maneuverability when measuring along boards, panels, and other wood elements.

Suitable for

• Measuring lengths and marking cut lines on timber and wooden boards
• Use in carpentry and joinery workshops
• DIY home renovation and furniture assembly

Key specifications

• Material: PVC tape with printed measurement scale
• Application focus: wood materials and woodworking
• Packaging: blister pack for protection and storage
• Design: compact and lightweight for handheld measuring

How to use

Extend the tape along the surface to be measured, align the zero mark with the starting edge, and read the measurement at the desired point. For marking cut lines, hold the tape steady and use a pencil or marking tool along the required length, ensuring the tape remains flat and straight to avoid parallax errors. After use, retract or roll the tape and return it to the blister pack to protect the printed scale and maintain accuracy.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a dry place away from prolonged sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve the PVC material and printed markings. Clean the tape surface with a soft cloth to remove sawdust or adhesives, and avoid sharp bends that could crease the tape. For highest accuracy during repetitive tasks, check the printed scale regularly against a calibrated rule.
