Bankschroef Bahco 834V-4 gewicht 5,5 kg

The Bahco 834V-4 bench vice is a durable bench-mounted clamping tool engineered for stable hold and precise work. With a weight of 5.5 kg, this vice provides a low center of gravity and resistance to movement during cutting, filing, drilling and assembly operations. Constructed from robust materials and finished for long service life, the vice is suitable for repeated use in workshop and garage environments where secure clamping and accurate alignment are required.

Advantages

The vice combines a compact footprint with substantial mass to reduce vibration and improve grip on workpieces. Its hardened jaws offer wear resistance and a reliable clamping surface, while the screw mechanism delivers smooth, controllable tightening. The body and mounting base are designed for secure attachment to benchtops, supporting both metalworking and woodworking tasks without excessive bulk.

Suitable for

• Metal cutting, filing and grinding
• Wood shaping, sanding and planing
• Drilling and assembly of small to medium components
• Hobby projects, maintenance and general workshop tasks

Key specifications

• Net weight: 5.5 kg
• Mounting: bench/benchtop mounting with bolt holes for secure fixation
• Jaw type: hardened steel serrated jaws for firm grip
• Screw mechanism: leadscrew with handle for controlled clamping
• Construction: heavy-duty cast body for stability and durability

How to use

Secure the vice to a stable benchtop using appropriate bolts through the mounting holes, ensuring the base is flat and firmly fixed. Open the jaws by turning the handle counterclockwise, place the workpiece between the jaws and tighten by turning the handle clockwise until the item is held firmly but without over-torquing. For precision tasks, align the workpiece carefully and use the vice to maintain position during cutting, drilling or filing operations. Release the workpiece by reversing the handle rotation.

Recommendations

Inspect jaws and screw mechanism periodically for wear and lubricate the leadscrew lightly to maintain smooth operation. Use jaw protectors when clamping delicate materials to prevent surface damage. Avoid using the vice as an anvil for heavy hammering and do not exceed the intended clamping range of the jaws.
