Barrow hardtube-fitting 12 mm G1/4 inch – compressieaansluiting voor 12-mm hardtube, zwart

Barrow Hardtube Fitting 12mm G1/4" is a compression-style connector engineered for 12 mm rigid tubing in PC water-cooling systems. The fitting uses a standard G1/4" thread to mate with blocks, radiators, reservoirs and other components, and its compression mechanism secures a leak-resistant seal for custom liquid-cooling loops. Finished in black, the fitting is intended to integrate visually with dark-themed builds and provide a reliable joint where rigid hard tubing is required.

Advantages

This compression connector offers a secure, reusable seal for 12 mm hard tubing without the need for epoxy or permanent bonding. The standardized G1/4" thread ensures broad compatibility with common water-cooling components. The black finish reduces visible joints in dark systems and resists minor surface wear during assembly. The design facilitates straightforward installation and disassembly for maintenance or loop modifications.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid-cooling loops using 12 mm rigid (hard) tubing
• Connections between water blocks, radiators, pumps and reservoirs
• Runs and bends where a compact, reliable compression joint is required
• System builds where G1/4" threaded ports are the standard interface

Key specifications

• Fitting type: Compression connector for hard tubing
• Compatible tubing outer diameter: 12 mm rigid tubing
• Thread standard: G1/4"
• Finish/color: Black
• Usage: Reusable, serviceable connection for liquid-cooling loops

How to use

Prepare the 12 mm rigid tube by cutting it square and deburring the edge to ensure a flat mating surface. Insert the tubing into the compression fitting until it seats against the internal stop, then hand-tighten the compression nut onto the G1/4" threaded port. Complete final tightening with appropriate tools until snug; avoid excessive force to prevent damaging the tube or thread. After assembly, pressurize and inspect the loop for leaks before full operation. For disassembly, back off the compression nut and carefully withdraw the tubing.

Recommendations

Use a proper tube cutter and deburring tool to ensure leak-free joints. Verify compatibility of component port threads before installation. During tightening, prioritize hand-tightening first and use a wrench only to bring the joint to the required snugness; over-tightening can deform hard tubing or threads.
