Batterijoplader Varta 57687 huishoudbatterij AC

VARTA LCD Plug Charger+ is a plug-in charger compatible with AA, AAA and 9V NiMH rechargeable batteries. It features an integrated LCD, individual charging channels for different cell combinations and a USB output to charge external devices simultaneously. The charger is ready to use straight from the pack and comes with a 3-year guarantee.

Advantages

The charger offers a 4-hour charging program and uses the minus delta V detection method to determine when NiMH cells are fully charged. Individual charging channels allow charging of mixed quantities and types within supported formats. Safety features include timer cut-off, short-circuit protection, wrong polarity protection and detection to prevent charging of alkaline or defective cells. A USB-Out port permits charging of mobile devices while batteries are being charged.

Key specifications

• Compatible battery types: AA, AAA, 9V (NiMH)
• Charging time: 4 hours (typical)
• Charging detection: Minus Delta V method
• Channels: Individual charging channels for separate cells
• Safety features: Timer cut-off, short-circuit protection, wrong polarity protection, bad cell & alkaline detection
• Additional output: USB-Out for charging external devices
• Ready to use: Yes (straight from pack)
• Guarantee: 3 years

How to use

Insert AA, AAA or 9V NiMH rechargeable batteries into the appropriate slots, observing correct polarity. The charger will detect cell status and start charging using individual channels; the LCD displays charging information. If using the USB-Out port, connect the external device with a suitable USB cable—both battery charging and USB charging can operate simultaneously. If a cell is detected as defective, alkaline or inserted with reverse polarity, the charger will not charge that cell and will indicate the condition.

Recommendations

Use only NiMH rechargeable AA, AAA or 9V batteries with this charger. Do not attempt to charge primary (alkaline) cells. Replace damaged or leaking batteries and avoid inserting cells with incorrect polarity. For optimal battery life, follow manufacturer guidance on storage and periodic usage.
