Eindoordeel: The be quiet! Dark Rock TF 2 is a well-built, good-looking down-draft style air cooler that features exceptional low noise operation thanks to the use of two high-quality 135mm fans. Whilst noise levels are a clear benefit, the cooling performance left ple...

Pluspunten
  • Excellent low-noise operation
  • All-black aesthetics are superb
  • Fantastic build quality with a reasonable warranty
  • Good RAM clearance, especially for a down-draft cooler
Minpunten
  • Very expensive at £79.99
  • Performance struggles when tasked with a particularly high AM4 heat load
  • Down-draft CPU coolers feel like a solution from a bygone era of chassis designs

Eindoordeel: If you're after a sleek cooling solution without any of the seizure-inducing razzle-dazzle of ARGB lighting, then hands down the be quiet! Dark Rock TF2 is the best choice you could make right now. Admittedly, it comes at a price point that perhaps tips t...

Pluspunten
  • One of the best coolers currently available in the market
  • Exceptionally low CPU temperatures while providing barely audible acoustic output
  • Build quality is to the highest level
  • A unique design that should provide near 100% system and RAM compatibility
Minpunten
  • None
  • Neutral
  • Again for be quiet! the installation method is work for nimble fingers, but this should still be entirely suitable for new or experience hands

Eindoordeel: Top-flow coolers seem to have fallen out of favour in high-performance builds, and on this showing it is clear to see why; they struggle to match the effectiveness of traditional tower coolers or liquid all-in-ones when it comes to cooling a modern, many-...

Pluspunten
  • Tidy all-black aesthetic
  • Ample clearance for RAM
  • Keeps quiet at all times
Minpunten
  • Disappointing cooling performance
  • Only a three-year warranty
  • Fiddly to remove
