Beal Cobra Unicore Dry Cover 8.6 mm 60 m dynamisch half touw - blauw

The Beal Cobra Unicore Dry Cover is a high-performance dynamic half rope designed for demanding alpine and multi-pitch climbing. With a diameter of 8.6 mm and a length of 60 meters, this rope offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The Unicore technology bonds the sheath to the core, preventing slippage and enhancing safety. The Dry Cover treatment protects both sheath and core from water absorption, ensuring consistent performance in wet conditions. Certified to CE EN 892 and UIAA standards, this rope delivers 16 UIAA falls with an impact force of 5.1 kN. The static elongation is 8% and dynamic elongation is 31%, providing a balanced combination of low stretch and energy absorption. The sheath percentage is 39%, contributing to durability. The rope features a middle mark for easy identification and ThermoFluid end treatment to prevent fraying. Weighing only 51 g/m, it is ideal for long approaches and technical climbs.

Advantages

Unicore technology prevents sheath slippage for increased safety. Dry Cover treatment repels water and dirt, extending rope life. Lightweight and thin diameter reduces weight without compromising strength. High number of UIAA falls ensures reliability. Middle mark simplifies rope management.
