The wooden storage box is dimensioned to hold each tool securely, simplifying transport and workshop organization while protecting cutting edges from damage.

• Mortising and cleaning out corners
• Fine detail carving and finishing work
• Workshop storage and portable tool kit for on-site jobs

Key specifications

• Quantity: 6 chisels
• Blade material: hardened and tempered tool steel
• Handle type: ergonomically shaped wooden handles suitable for mallet use
• Storage: fitted wooden box for organized storage and transport
• Intended use: woodworking — paring, mortising, detail work

How to use

Select the chisel width appropriate for the cut and position the blade bevel towards the waste where applicable. Use controlled hand pressure for paring and detail work; for heavier chopping or mortising, strike the handle with a mallet rated for woodworking tools. Keep the chisel aligned with the workpiece and advance in small, controlled passes to avoid tear-out. After use, clean the blades, apply a thin protective oil film if storing for extended periods, and return each chisel to its slot in the wooden box to protect the edges.

Recommendations

Regularly hone the chisels to maintain a sharp edge and inspect handles and blade tangs before striking with a mallet. Store blades dry and away from corrosive environments; use the wooden box to keep tools organized and prevent accidental damage.
