Beitelset voor hout DeWALT DWHT0-16063 4-delig

The DeWALT DWHT0-16063 woodworking chisels set contains four precision chisels made for durable, accurate wood cutting and paring. Each chisel features a hardened, tempered chrome carbon-steel blade with lacquer coating to resist corrosion and a hardened strike cap to withstand impact during use. The set is intended for general woodworking tasks where edge retention and robustness are required.

Advantages

Blades are made of hardened, tempered chrome carbon-steel to maintain a sharp edge and resist wear. A lacquer finish provides basic corrosion protection for longer service life. Hardened strike caps increase durability when the chisels are used with a mallet or subjected to heavy strikes. The set of four covers common widths for versatile woodworking work.

How to use

Select the chisel width appropriate for the cut, secure the workpiece, and position the chisel with the bevel facing the desired side. Use controlled hand pressure for paring and trimming. For heavier chopping or levering tasks, apply strikes to the hardened strike cap with a wooden or rubber mallet, keeping hands clear of the blade path. After use, wipe blades clean and store in a dry place.

Recommendations

Keep blades sharp for safe, effective cutting; re-lacquer or oil lightly if stored long-term in humid conditions. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid excessive force beyond the tool’s intended use.
