The GARDENA Control Unit 9 V Bluetooth is a battery-powered controller for automatic irrigation that connects wirelessly to the GARDENA Bluetooth App. It operates GARDENA Irrigation Valve 9 V (retrofit for Art. 1251) and allows setup and control from up to 10 m via smartphone or tablet. The unit supports six independent watering schedules with configurable start times, durations and selectable days of the week. Status LEDs indicate Bluetooth connectivity, battery level and active watering. A manual 'Water Now' function starts irrigation immediately without altering programmed schedules. The control unit replaces the previous 9 V control and programming units and is compatible with the GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor.

Advantages

The device provides wireless Bluetooth control for convenient remote programming and monitoring, supports multiple customizable schedules and shows clear status information through LEDs. Battery operation allows installation without mains power, and compatibility with existing GARDENA 9 V valves and the soil moisture sensor enables integration into established irrigation setups.

Suitable for

• Home gardens with GARDENA 9 V irrigation valves
• Retrofitting existing GARDENA irrigation systems (Art. 1251)
• Small lawns, flower beds and potted plant irrigation
• Users who prefer smartphone-based schedule control within 10 m range

Key specifications

How to use

Install the control unit on a compatible GARDENA 9 V irrigation valve and insert the required 9 V battery. Install the GARDENA Bluetooth App on a smartphone or tablet, then open the app and pair it with the control unit within approximately 10 m. Use the 'Water Now' option in the app or on the unit to start immediate irrigation without changing programmed settings. Monitor status LEDs for connection and battery information, and replace the battery when the battery status indicator shows low.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, place the controller within the recommended Bluetooth range, use fresh batteries and check compatibility with your existing GARDENA 9 V valves. Integrate the GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor if you require moisture-based irrigation adjustments.
