Beschermende boekfolie Elba 20261917 transparant zelfklevend 450 mm x 1 m

Transparent self-adhesive book protection film Elba 20261917, size 450 mm x 1 m, provides a clear protective layer for book covers, notebooks and documents. The film adheres without the need for additional tools and is designed to guard against dirt, moisture and daily wear while preserving the original look of the cover. Its transparent finish makes text and cover artwork visible and maintains a low-profile appearance.

Advantages

The transparent protective film forms a durable, water-resistant surface that reduces scuffs, stains and edge wear. Self-adhesive backing simplifies application and removes the need for tape or glue. The film is thin and flexible, allowing it to conform to curved spines and different cover materials without creating creases when applied carefully. Its clear appearance preserves printed details and color tones of covers and labels.

Suitable for

• Protecting paperback and hardcover book covers
• Covering notebooks, schoolbooks and exercise books
• Laminating documents, charts and archival pages for short-term protection
• Preserving magazines, brochures and manuals from moisture and dirt

Key specifications

• Material: transparent self-adhesive film
• Width: 450 mm
• Length: 1 m roll
• Finish: clear/transparent
• Application: peel-and-stick, no separate adhesive required

How to use

Measure and cut a piece of film slightly larger than the cover or document to be protected. Clean the surface to remove dust and grease for better adhesion. Peel the backing gradually while smoothing the film onto the cover from one edge toward the opposite edge to avoid air bubbles. Trim excess film with a craft knife or scissors and press edges firmly for secure adhesion. For curved spines or irregular surfaces, apply slowly and press the film into place with a soft cloth or roller to achieve a smooth finish.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Apply at room temperature on clean, dry surfaces. For long-term archival needs or repeated handling, check compatibility with specific paper types and printed inks on an inconspicuous area before full application.
