How to use

Connect the camera to a compatible USB power and data source using the supplied 0.8 m wired USB cable. Secure the camera to the chosen mounting accessory, such as a Picatinny-compatible bracket for helmets or body mounts, and adjust orientation to frame the desired field of view. Verify that the recording device or host system recognizes the camera and configure resolution and exposure settings as needed. For low-light scenes, allow automatic exposure control to stabilize image brightness; if available, set appropriate white balance and compression settings on the host recorder to balance image quality and storage requirements.

Recommendations

Use the AXIS 01952-001 in environments where a wired connection and weather-resistant design are preferred. Regularly inspect seals and mounting hardware after exposure to water or dust, and ensure the USB connection is secure to maintain continuous recording. For helmet or body mounting, position the camera to avoid obstruction and to maximize the 141° field of view.
