Bewegingssensorlamp Varta 17624101111 slank design batterijgevoed, bewegingsactiverd LED

The Varta motion sensor light 17624101111 is a slim, battery-operated LED light with motion activation designed for hands-free, temporary illumination. Its compact form factor and automatic motion detection provide convenient light in areas without permanent wiring. The unit is suitable for mounting on walls or inside cabinets and can be installed where brief, targeted light is needed, such as hallways, closets, stairways and utility spaces.

Advantages

The slim design offers a low-profile appearance that blends with most interiors while occupying minimal space. Battery operation removes the need for wiring, enabling fast installation and flexible placement. Motion-activated switching conserves energy by illuminating only when movement is detected, and LED technology delivers bright, even light with long service life and low heat generation.

Suitable for

• Hallways and corridors where temporary illumination is required
• Closets, wardrobes and storage areas without built-in lighting
• Staircases and landings to improve safety at night
• Utility rooms, basements or attics where wiring is impractical
• Entryways and garages for quick, hands-free lighting

Key specifications

• Power source: battery-operated for cordless use
• Illumination: energy-efficient LED lighting
• Activation: passive motion sensor for automatic on/off
• Form factor: slim, compact housing for discrete mounting
• Mounting: surface-mountable on walls and inside cabinets

How to use

Mount the light on a clean, dry surface using the included fittings or adhesive strips as appropriate. Insert the recommended batteries, close the compartment securely and switch the unit to the motion-activated mode. The sensor will detect movement within its detection range and switch the LED on for the preset duration; the light will turn off automatically after inactivity to conserve battery life. For optimal detection, position the sensor at a height and angle that faces the main traffic path.

Recommendations

To maximise battery life and sensor performance, avoid mounting the light in direct sunlight or very humid areas, replace batteries with fresh cells of the same type when dimming is noticed, and keep the sensor lens free from dust and obstructions.
