How to use

Before use, fit the appropriate abrasive pad or paper designed for the sander's pad size and ensure it is securely attached. Connect the sander to a suitable mains supply and switch the tool on using the power control. Apply light, even pressure and move the sander across the surface in steady passes, allowing the motor and abrasive to do the work rather than forcing the tool. Periodically check and empty the dust collection container to maintain efficiency and visibility. Disconnect the tool from power before changing accessories or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use the Black & Decker BEW230BC-QS with appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and a dust mask. Choose abrasive grit according to the task: coarser grits for rapid material removal and finer grits for smoothing and finishing. For best results on painted surfaces, test a small area first to determine the correct approach and minimize surface damage.
