Bosch PBS 75 AE bandschuurmachine

The Bosch PBS 75 AE Belt Sander is a 750 W electric sanding tool designed for fast material removal and smoothing of wooden surfaces and other compatible substrates. With a compact sanding plate sized 76 x 165 mm and a total weight of 3.5 kg, the tool balances performance and maneuverability for continuous sanding tasks. The AC power supply provides steady torque for consistent sanding results across extended sessions.

Advantages

The 750 W motor delivers sufficient power for aggressive stock removal and finishing work. The compact sanding plate allows access to narrower areas while maintaining an even sanding path. At 3.5 kg, the sander remains manageable for one-handed adjustments and longer use. The AC-powered design ensures stable, uninterrupted operation without battery changes or charging pauses.

Suitable for

• Removing paint, varnish or old coatings from wooden surfaces
• Leveling and smoothing rough timber and furniture components
• Preparing surfaces for painting or staining
• Basic metal deburring and surface refinement on suitable materials

Key specifications

• Power input: 750 W
• Sanding plate dimensions: 76 x 165 mm
• Power source: AC mains
• Weight: 3.5 kg

How to use

Before use, fit the correct grit sanding belt and ensure it is tensioned according to the tool's belt guidance. Connect the sander to an appropriate AC supply and hold it with both hands, positioning the sanding plate flat on the workpiece. Switch on the tool and move it steadily along the grain or across the workpiece as required, applying light, even pressure. For consistent results, keep the sander in motion to avoid creating uneven spots. After finishing, switch off and disconnect from the power source before changing belts or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use progressively finer grit belts to move from material removal to finishing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, dust mask and hearing protection. Use dust extraction or a vacuum-compatible setup where possible to reduce airborne particles and prolong the sanding belt life.
