BlueOptics XS+DA0001-BL InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel 1 m SFP28 zwart

The BlueOptics XS+DA0001-BL is a 1 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SFP28-to-SFP28 connectors designed for high-speed short-range links in rack environments. It supports 25G data rates and is intended for direct attach connections between switches, routers, storage systems and compatible network devices. The cable uses a twinax copper direct attach design suitable for electrical signal transfer over short distances and is built to MSA-compliant specifications for interoperability with hardware platforms that accept SFP28 passive direct attach cables.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable 25G connectivity with low latency and low power consumption due to its passive twinax construction. It is manufactured with quality components and tested for compatibility with common hardware platforms, offering a cost-effective alternative to active optical assemblies for short-distance links. The 1 m length is compact for adjacent-rack or in-rack connections and simplifies installation while reducing clutter.

Key specifications

• Length: 1 meter
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male-to-male)
• Nominal data rate: up to 25 Gbps
• Cable type: passive twinax copper direct attach (25GBase-CR)
• Wire gauge: 30 AWG
• MSA compliant design for SFP28 interfaces
• Typical applications: Ethernet, FCoE, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand over short distances

How to use

Install the BlueOptics XS+DA0001-BL by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch clicks. Ensure both devices support passive 25GBase-CR direct attach twinax cables and that port settings match the intended 25G link configuration. Avoid excessive bending or strain on the cable during installation and route it within the rack to prevent interference with airflow or other equipment.
