BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-15M-BO aqua glasvezelkabel 15m OM3 LC

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-15M-BO Aqua Fibre Optic Cable 15m OM3 LC is a 15 metre multimode OM3 patch cable with LC connectors on both ends. Designed for high-bandwidth multimode links, this fibre cable uses laser-optimized OM3 fibre and LC/UPC terminations to provide low insertion loss and stable optical performance for networking and data centre environments. The cable is supplied with a flame-retardant LSZH sheath for reduced smoke and no halogen release in the event of fire, and each cable is factory-tested with interferometer and OTDR measurements that document input loss and return loss values.

Advantages

This OM3 LC–LC patch cable offers compatible performance with common enterprise equipment while using branded multimode fibre and precision zirconia ferrules to ensure consistent optical contact and long connector life. The LSZH outer jacket reduces fire hazards and smoke emission compared with PVC-sheathed cables. Factory testing and measurement protocols are provided, supporting predictable attenuation and return loss characteristics for reliable link budgeting.

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and fibre ends before installation to ensure cleanliness and absence of damage. Route the cable gently without tight bends and avoid compressive forces; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius for multimode fibre when installing in patch panels or cable management systems. Insert LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on patch panels or transceivers until they click, and verify link performance after installation using appropriate optical test equipment.

Recommendations

Use fibre-cleaning tools or wipes before each connection, secure the cable to avoid excessive movement, and store unused cable length coiled with a radius that respects the cable’s bend limits. Retest links after installation and keep the supplied measurement protocol for future reference when troubleshooting or documenting the network.
